A treatment savings example

Five all-ceramic crowns, six simple extractions, one full lower denture and three single implant packages: approximately $32,050 at standard fees compared with $22,627 at Price Lock member fees. Estimated treatment saving: $9,423.

Allowing $520 for 52 weeks of membership gives a combined cost of $23,147 and an estimated saving of $8,903. Extractions in this example are separate from any included in implant packages; duplicate charges must be removed. The denture and implants are separate treatments, not an implant-retained denture.

Interest-free humm payment plans

Members can apply for plans up to $30,000, subject to lender approval, fees and terms. A $15,000 plan over four years is around $75/week as an indicative budget. The principal alone is $72.12/week over 208 weeks; actual repayments and fees are confirmed by humm. Membership is separate.

Considering treatment in Korea?

Upper and lower zirconia All-on-X: $35,000 treatment plus an estimated $5,000 for two trips, giving a $40,000 estimated total. Single implant and crown: $2,250, plus travel and any additional quoted services. Australian aftercare is available under the written programme terms; confirm participating clinics, inclusions and charges before booking. Molar root canals, aligners and orthodontics are not offered through the Korea programme.

Version 1 — updated 18 September 2026

Dental Members Australia Pty Ltd, ABN 83 146 856 448 (“DMA”, “we”, “us”) provides DMA Price Lock. These terms are the agreement between you and DMA. Please read them before joining. For questions, call 1300 787 356 or email info@dma.com.au.

1. What Price Lock is — and what it is not

Price Lock is a single dental membership that gives you access to the Price Lock member fees shown in our fee schedule and confirmed in your written treatment plan. There are no membership tiers or tier-based treatment caps.

Price Lock is not private health insurance or a health fund. It does not reimburse you, pay a benefit or replace your health cover. It provides reduced fees for treatment through DMA. Membership fees cannot be claimed from a health fund or Medicare.

2. Membership fee

Membership is $10 per week or $40 every four weeks. The payment frequency you select is confirmed when you join. Four-weekly billing is not calendar-month billing: there are 13 four-week periods in 52 weeks, costing $520 in total.

The membership fee is separate from treatment costs and finance repayments. It is not a deposit or credit against treatment.

3. What is included

Membership includes examinations, standard X-rays and two scale and cleans each year, while your membership is active. Fluoride is an additional $30.

Member fees apply to the treatments listed in the published schedule, including fillings, extractions, crowns, dentures, front-tooth and premolar root canal treatment, single implant packages and upper and lower All-on-X zirconia treatment. Your written treatment plan confirms the items, inclusions and fees that apply to you. There are no tier-based annual treatment credits.

4. What is not included

  • Orthodontics and clear aligners.
  • Molar root canal treatment, which may require specialist referral.
  • Treatment referred to an external specialist.
  • General anaesthetic and IV sedation, billed separately by the anaesthetist. Any applicable Medicare rebate is a matter for you and the anaesthetist.
  • Services not included in your written quote. These require a separate quote before you proceed.

5. Additional or changed treatment

Price Lock uses individual member fees, not a total treatment allowance or ceiling. If you need additional treatment, we will confirm the applicable member fee or separate quote before it starts. No automatic 90%-of-usual-fee rule applies.

6. Standard fees and savings

Our usual fee means DMA’s standard fee for the treatment. Your written plan identifies the treatment items and applicable ADA item numbers so you can check the charges. Treatment savings are the difference between the DMA standard fees and your member treatment fees. Membership charges and any finance or other separately quoted costs must also be considered when comparing your total cost.

7. Your dentist confirms the treatment

We can review or reprice a quote, but the treating dentist decides the treatment. A plan is confirmed only after clinical examination. The treatment, sequence and price may change following that examination. We will explain any material change and provide the revised member fees before treatment begins.

8. Quotes from outside DMA

If you were quoted outside the DMA network, we may not be able to apply Price Lock to that quote. Send it to us and we will tell you whether it can be repriced before you rely on it. The treating dentist must still confirm your treatment plan.

9. Our guarantee

For treatment quoted at one of our own clinics, we will find a dentist within our organisation who will honour the confirmed Price Lock member fees. If we cannot, we will refund your membership fee in full.

10. Keeping your membership current

Member fees apply only while membership payments are up to date on the day treatment is invoiced. Treatment already underway keeps its agreed member price. New treatment reverts to our usual fee until payments are current again. If a payment fails, we will contact you and give you the chance to catch up. This does not change the price of treatment you have already started.

You will be asked to acknowledge this condition separately when signing the membership agreement.

11. Treatment time frame

Treatment under your agreed plan is to be completed within six to nine months of starting. Treatment you defer beyond that may need to be requoted at the fees applying at that time. Your dentist will confirm the clinical sequence and timing.

12. Paying for treatment

You can pay your treatment fees directly or apply for a funding option. Membership is separate from all treatment repayments.

humm: Eligible members can apply for interest-free plans up to $30,000, with a 48-month option subject to humm’s assessment and approval. Account fees and other lender fees may apply. Your humm agreement confirms the available term, fees and repayments before you accept. DMA does not apply the former DMA Access 15% finance adjustment.

Compassionate release of superannuation: Eligible dental treatment may qualify. We can assist with preparing and lodging an application with you. Eligibility is decided by the Australian Taxation Office, not DMA. Approval and timing are not guaranteed. Do not start treatment on the assumption that funds will be released. For plans above $30,000, we will usually discuss superannuation first.

13. Where you can be treated

Price Lock treatment is provided at DMA-owned clinics. At the date of this version, these are Sydney CBD, Adelaide CBD, Spring Hill, Robina, Fremantle and Feather Dental. You may have been quoted elsewhere, but treatment under Price Lock takes place at one of these clinics. We may add or remove clinics and will tell you if your chosen clinic is affected. Confirm your treatment location with your coordinator before booking.

The DMI Korea programme has separate treatment, travel and aftercare terms; this membership does not itself include overseas treatment or travel.

14. Membership and cancellation

Membership is personal and cannot be transferred. Membership payments continue at your selected frequency of $10 weekly or $40 every four weeks until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time. There is no minimum membership period. Contact DMA on 1300 787 356 or info@dma.com.au to cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the weekly or four-weekly period you have already paid for. Part-periods are not refunded, except where required by law.

After cancellation takes effect, member fees no longer apply to new treatment not yet invoiced. Treatment already underway retains its agreed member price under clause 10.

No additional contractual cooling-off period is offered. Any cooling-off, cancellation or refund rights that apply under Australian law are preserved. Membership fees already paid are not refunded on cancellation, except under clause 9 or where the Australian Consumer Law requires it.

15. Changes to these terms

Changes will be published as a new version. The version you accepted governs treatment you have already committed to. We will tell you before a change affects a plan you are part-way through.

16. Your information

We collect and hold personal and health information to provide treatment and administer membership, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and our privacy policy. We share information with your treating clinic, and with humm or the ATO only where you have asked us to pursue that funding pathway.

17. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and DMA submit to the courts of that place.

By signing the membership agreement, you confirm that you have read these terms, understand that member fees depend on your payments being current, and understand that the treating dentist confirms your treatment plan after examination.
